Choose your keywords carefully in Pay Per Click Ads

I have noticed that some of our members are advertising in google adwords, MSN etc.
This is a very good method to get targeted traffic.

And one important thing to remember while promoting through this method is to use proper keywords because you are paying per every click.

Some members are using keywords like:
tattoo designs
car auctions
dog training
etc..
These are good keywords to use.

But if you use very general keywords such as :
downloads
ebooks
software
etc..
the visitor may be looking for something not available in the mall and may go away after not finding what he want.

So try to bid for specific keywords

for example:

anti spyware downloads
registry cleaner downloads
anti spyware software
registry cleaner software
world of warcraft ebooks
dog training ebooks
etc..
and send them to relevant pages in the mall.
using your link:
http://cbtopsites.com/search/NICKNAME/anti+spyware
etc..

If you are advertising in pay per click, You can promote the main page of the mall or promote some type of products in the mall using some relevant keywords.

Some keywords ( keyphrases ) you can use to promote the main page of the mall in pay per click ...

buy ebooks
buy ebook
buy ebooks online
purchase ebooks
purchase ebooks online
download ebooks to computer

online shopping mall
internet shopping mall
online mall
shopping mall

etc..
other keywords:

buy business ebooks ( use business category link )
marketing ebooks (use marketing category link ...)

software downloads
computer software downloads

like this you can use a great number of keywords and can promote any type of products

More questions. Really the same thing. ok. You were saying to promote the top downloads and popular links. Heres the question. Do I use keywords for the individual sites on them. I can't think of how to explain it. umum. Since theres so many different sites how would i go about the keywords for them. I think i can guess the free trial link but those and the new prods. How do i go about for keywords. Get what i am saying I HOPE So use keywords that i would individually but in one ad campaign.

We use PPC to get targeted visitors looking for some specific products.
Since Top Downloads and Popular Downloads pages have different type of products, it will be beneficial to promote them through free methods ( not usually in pay per click ).

We can promote these pages to untargeted traffic or casual visitors.

If you have a general website or blog you can paste the links to these pages there.
Use them in forum and email signatures etc, where we may not know what our visitors want.

We have to promote different pages according to the visitors we expect.
