I had to wait a day, or should I say, poor old Blue and Bailey had to wait a day. After they d been to the vets, I was another $250.00 down, the dogs had been sick in the car and they were about to have they re second dose of antibiotics in three months. They were miserable. So was I. I began reading up on the effects of antibiotics, it wasn t promising. Now, we re all aware of the long term affects of antibiotics on the human body, but what about our dogs? I m not sure you realized this but antibiotics are in fact far worse, in fact dangerous, for dogs than they are for us. The problem is that the antibiotics kill the yeast as well as any good bacteria your dog needs for survival. This has a dangerous two fold effect.
