Let me say this before I say anything else.. there are some phenomenal internet training programs on the market to teach everything including PPC, Article Marketing, Newsletter Marketing, driving traffic, creating a membership site, affiliate marketing techniques, banner ad promotion and on and on, and I took many of those classes in trying to find my way, but this is what happened too many times..The instructor would say "If your not quite sure how to do what I am showing you, you can outsource just about anything or just ask your local teenager. There are a few problems with a statement like that, and please I am not saying this makes the value of that teacher or program less.. but more so it leaves a gaping hole in the ability of the student to implement and move ahead. Here is what I was hearing from people that were taking these kinds of classes and trainings: If I had the money to outsource.. I would just hire somebody to do it all for me.. I don't so I cant. Even if I could outsource, I don't know how, where do you go, who do you ask, what do you ask for?? I'm building a business.. my "local teenager" doesn't have the time or patience to teach me. I want to do this "on my own".. not by having to find a dozen people each for a different little question or gap in my learning. You may be wondering how I know this. Well other than having gone through it myself as I was building MY business online I also work in customer service for another online business that teaches internet marketing and my son works in IT where he deals with people every day trying to get past the challenges of just using their computers.
