In 2005 I won a RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship defeating the world's longest drivers in intense competition. In 2007 I came in 2nd in the world losing by one yard. In 2008 I also came in 2nd in the world. During the competition I hit over 360 yards. I am an eight year world long drive finalist. I compete against the longest in the world and that includes the PGA professionals. By profession, I am an elementary school teacher. Although approaching my 60's, I am still able to hit a golf ball over 350 yards or more consistently. My official club head speed has been measured at 140 MPH. In competition in 2008 I hit on two separate occasions 395 yard drives. I have hit drives as long as 395 yards numerous times in World Long Drive Competitions.
