Your Guide To Recipes And Cooking For Good Camping Food

Publisher Description :

home | articles | about us | camp cooking and food mini-course | camping recipe guide | contact us     Your e-guide saved me from spending hundreds of dollars on camping equipment I didn't need. It also guided me through every step of my camping trip, so I knew what to bring and do. I would have been lost without the advice. I can't thank you enough! Maria Morais, Ontario, Canada I think the service you provide is wonderful, especially for the novice camper. If I had not found your site, I doubt my daughter would have had such a successful and wonderful experience. Thanks again Cara Pieraccini, Sausalito, CA I was totally impressed by the quality of advice in Beginner Camping Tips.Even as a seasoned out trip canoe instructor I learned a few new things. This is an invaluable resource for any new camper wishing to have great camping experiences right from the start. Pat Antliff, Toronto,       Bring Only What You Need For Good Meals Next Camping Trip Discover the missing ingredients of delicious camping food, and gain the knowledge to make your camp recipes satisfy even the most picky eaters. Outdoors people know the joy of sitting around a campfire and enjoying fresh juicy delicious food. Having a well-prepared meal outside with fresh air surroundings can satisfy even the most demanding camp group. Sometimes it’s the camping cooking and food experience – getting others involved - rather than just eating the meal. In any case, there’s a common bond among those who go camping: good food and memorable cooking experiences outdoors. So whether you camp alone, with family, friends, boy scouts, or girls guides you get similar rewards from the experience. And that’s what I’m about to share with you with your permission… Long Lasting Camping Memories My name is Henry Tom, and I’m the founder and editor at Camp-Food.com. I started camping when I was 11. That was nearly thirty years ago, and I still have great memories of my first camping trip in old gold rush country, Northern British Columbia, Canada. I remember trying new things, sitting around the campfire with friends, and have my first Sloppy Joe camp meal. It was different from anything I’d done before. And that picture still spring from memory to this day. Perhaps that why I keep going back for more camping. Since then, I’ve backpacked and car camped in all sorts of places including the Canadian Rockies. What I learned is anyone can have good camp meals and enjoyable cooking experiences following the right steps. The steps are easy, and I’m going to tell you why. But first… Forget About Time Consuming, Clumsy, Complicated, And Dull Camping Cooking And Recipes Forget recipes that take hours to put together. Forget boring meals. Forget wasted hours cleaning up cooking messes. Forget cooking that turn off others from helping out. Forget packing your car full of unneeded kitchenware. Forget about bringing too much food, which just ends up going to waste. Forget about all of that! Satify Even The Most Picky Eaters Quite often, my readers write in to ask what to do about picky eaters too. I know how they feel. My son won't touch anything that doesn't look right to him. It's frustrating. Sometimes they're right though. Burnt food with ashes doesn't always look or taste good. There's a range of reasons for picky eaters, but burnt food is just one of the top reasons why recipes alone don't work when you're camping. That why getting the right advice and knowledge is the key to good food and relaxing outdoor living. It’s that easy. You see, a camping recipe that works for one person might not work for others. Why? It's in the way you put the recipe together. A recipe prepared over a portable gas stove might not turn out the same way as it does with a dutch oven over a campfire for instance. Gas stoves have greater heat consistency than wood burning campfires. Five minutes over a portable stove might cook the perfect meal, but the same 5 minutes over a campfire might result in charred bits throughout your food. The way you setup your campfire could also ruin the whole dish in the dutch oven in less than 5 minutes. Okay. So how do I get the right combinations you ask? Experts To Give You Answers To Your Questions Well, I’m about to share knowledge from people who’ve been camping for decades. They’ve camped alone, with groups, with family, and in all sorts of places and situations. Their knowledge of camping cooking and food extend over years and hundreds of places. Take Stacey and John Doyle for example. They’ve been camping together for over 20 years now. Stacey's interest for camping started age six when she was a Girl Scout. John started camping at an early age and gained outdoor survival skills as a Marine in the Vietnam War. Today, John and Stacey camp with their two children in New York State. You'll see their Dutch oven cooking expertise in the
